While walking to Presidente’s
Supermarket I saw a resident walking his dog.
The dog stopped and did his business and the resident without losing a
stride just kept walking. I very courteously approached the resident and said, “Sir
you did not pick up after your dog”. The resident explained that he always
picks up after his dog but there were no bags in the bag receptacles. I in turn
said don’t worry I will get you a bag from my house that is just half block
away. The resident said, “thank you while you do that I will go and check the
receptacle down the street”. I said, “Let’s go check together”. We did, and in fact all the receptacles were
empty. While I was walking back to the house, my neighbor was just getting in
from work and explained he had seen a lady take all the bags from the
receptacles and could not get the license plate. He will keep an eye out for
this dog poop bag thief. Commissioner Chervony if you are reading this please
