North Bay Village residents indifference?

North Bay Village residents indifferent? People just like to complain and when is time to get involved they expect someone else to do it. Something as simple as picking up after your dog or as important as getting in involved in their children's future.  What do you get? People just won't show up!    PTA stands for Parents, Teachers Association. It's simple, no parents no association. Is it a language a barrier? I don't think so. This generation wants others to raise their children, or do they? You tell me. I challenge all North Bay Village residents to show up at the next commission meeting and say, "Reporting for duty, how can I help?"

While on the subject of challenges, this commission still has not chosen the members for the Budget and Oversight Committee. Talk about indifference, or is it? Maybe the commission doesn't want anyone looking over their shoulders. While the cat is out the mice will play. I challenge this commission to stop wasting time and make the necessary adjustments to create the 2013 Budget and Oversight Committee, it's way passed due.

Thank you,

Mario Garcia
