Thumbs up to Mayor Connie, Vice Mayor Lim, Commissioner Cherbony and Commissioner Blumberg for approving the funding for the International Baccalaureate Program ( IB) program in yesterday's commission budget meeting (September 27,2012). Commissioner Chervony and Commissioner Blumberg were concerned with the unreserved reserves balance being depleted. When the vote was split 2 / 2 we were alarmed that it would create an impasse. The commission rolled up their sleeves and discussed the issue until it was resolved, demonstrating what good government can do when they work towards a common goal; “Putting North Bay Village First”.
