What's next? To improve the quality of life in North Bay Village. Attracting new businesses that enhance the make up of services in the village comes to mind. We can start by asking why are new businesses opening on both sides of the bridge and not in NBV? Is it demographics? I dont think so given that the causeway is a beltway that can provide plenty of customers. Possibly the business climate in NBV is not attractive enough? We need to find out and fix it.
Now that the old city hall and police station is finally demolished, we are going to have a great opportunity to build a multi purpose complex possibly housing a police station, city hall, youth center and senior center. Food for thought! Get active with your concerns, show up at the city hall meetings.
